Saw his work a few years ago at the Nat’l Gallery… loved it.
Dan Flavin (1933-1996) was an American minimalist artist famous for creating sculptural objects and installations from commercially available fluorescent light fixtures.
Dan Flavin is awesome. I was lucky enough to see the bottom middle installation at the Hirshhorn Museum here in DC.
